Steel that changes with the seasons
Corten weathering steel starts grey and develops orange and brown rust tones outdoors. Colour and timing vary with exposure. Allow it to drain and keep rusty runoff away from pale paving, walls and other surfaces that could stain.
Find a branch. Hang it up.
Thread suitable string or twine through the top loop and hang it securely from a sturdy branch or hook. Check that it sits stably and that the hanging material remains sound. This feeder hangs from its loop; it does not have a mounting spike and does not need hammering into timber.
