The Blue Wren’s character is still here: the fine beak, feather cut-outs and leafy branch. This miniature simply makes room for it in a smaller spot.

At 6 cm high and 9 cm wide, it’s a little detail to notice near the back door or on a timber planter. Check the dimensions before choosing its perch: this is the mini, not the full-size Blue Wren.

Steel that changes with the seasons

Corten is weathering steel. Outdoors, its surface develops a rust-coloured patina. Exposure, rain and drying affect the colour and the rate of change, so each bird weathers in its own way.

Leave it unpainted to enjoy the changing finish. Choose a spot where rust run-off won’t mark pale paving, walls or other surfaces.

INSTALLATION

Choose a perch. Tap it in.

Choose suitable solid timber, such as a sturdy fence post or timber planter. Position the integrated mounting spike against the wood and tap it in gently with a hammer until secure. Avoid striking the bird itself. Hammer not included.

Choose a spot you have permission to use. Keep the pointed spike out of children’s reach. Give the silhouette a clear background so its cut detail can show.

Australian orders ship from Melbourne with Australia Post. We aim to dispatch orders placed before 12 noon AEST, Monday to Friday, on the same day. This is an aim, not a guaranteed dispatch time.

Refunds follow inspection, to the original payment method; outbound shipping is not refunded unless we made a mistake.
