MEET THE BIRD

Big kookaburra character. Little steel bird.

The beak and upright pose make this little kookaburra easy to recognise. We’ve kept the outline simple and the cut-outs clear, even at this smaller scale.

Choose a spot close enough to appreciate the detail. The comparison photograph shows the mini beside the full-size bird; this listing is for one Mini Kookaburra only.

MADE FOR OUTDOORS

Steel that changes with the seasons

Corten is weathering steel. Outdoors, its surface develops a rust-coloured patina. Exposure, rain and drying affect the colour and the rate of change, so each bird weathers in its own way.

Leave it unpainted to enjoy the changing finish. Choose a spot where rust run-off won’t mark pale paving, walls or other surfaces.

INSTALLATION

Choose a perch. Tap it in.

Choose suitable solid timber, such as a sturdy fence post or timber planter. Position the integrated mounting spike against the wood and tap it in gently with a hammer until secure. Avoid striking the bird itself. Hammer not included.

Choose a spot you have permission to use. Keep the pointed spike out of children’s reach. Give the silhouette a clear background so its cut detail can show.

READY TO GIVE

A little envelope with someone in mind.

A small thank-you for a bird-loving mate, or a little reminder of home to tuck beside a card. An A6 branded kraft envelope keeps the Mini Kookaburra ready to give.

Gift envelope included. Hammer not included.
